Next morning a drizzle gave me litres of energy pedal up the hills of Sognefjell where the top reaches some 1400+ m above sea level. In contrary to Alpine passes the road stays on the plateau for some distance. That's true, Sognefjell roof of Norway, that what is called by some people, regarding alpine part to be checked myself.
Then after some 20km quick and warm descent to the town called Lom. Where I had a chance to marvel at the interior of stave church at the discretion of local guide, who let me in although closing time was fast approaching. Thank you, amigo!
